As the Deputy Secretary General and the President of the Security Council, welcome delegates of the UNSC.
You’ve all probably heard from each chair of each committee why theirs is the best and how their committee will be the best. I hope I don’t have to do the same for all of you, seeing as you are in the UNSC, the most paramount of them all. It isn’t a secret that the world today is one where peace and harmony are violated without any second thoughts. Is this really the world we want to live in and leave for the future generations? The answer to such a question is one filled with intricacy and mysteries and at IHMUN we, as the Security Council, will be looking to tackle some of the most important issues that plague the world today. I expect the highest level of debate and as my deputy has said, there is no substitute for hard work. I hope to see all of you giving this your all and providing apt solutions to these problems. See you at IHMUN delegates.
May the best delegate win.

Greetings Delegates,
Welcome to the Security Council, the most presitigious and the most powerful committee in the Model United Nations. Gear up to experience some of the most ruthless, scintilating and intense debating offered by MUN. Security Council is home to the very best of debators out there. In this session we intend to debate upon topics which are invaluable to pursing a utopian society and it is therefore imperative that these topics be debated upon with utmost sincerity while keeping in mind the pivotal aim of achieving greater good. Security Council offers each and every delegate irrespective of his/her country eternal greatness and an oppurtunity for them to have their name etched in the history books of IHMUN, but only if the delegate is ready to walk that extra mile, only if the delegate is ready to stay up that extra hour, only is the delegate is ready to work through sweat, blood and tears in order to achieve perfection. Looking forward to having a memorable debating experience.
LET THE GAMES...BEGIN!
