"Don’t raise your voice, improve your argument"
I, Somya Jain, as the President, welcome you to the International Court of Justice. This year’s conference is going to be a very significant one for us because of the wide topics and large number of students. ICJ or the World Court is the primary judicial branch of the United Nations. The court settles legal disputes submitted to it by states and provides advisory opinions on legal questions. The world is wrapped up in social, economic and political issues and is close to destruction. It would not be unforeseen to foresee impeccable and knowledgeable debates from the delegates of this distinguished court to solve some of the gravest world issues. I expect all the delegates to comprehend the topics well, indulge themselves in good research and to not miss out on the fun and new friendships.
Best Wishes
President
International Court of Justice
