I, Varaang Bhandula, am privileged to be Head Chair of the general assembly 3. The art of speaking is one which we should all master and as chair I hope that the heated debates on topical issues that we have in our committee helps make all of you better speakers and wiser citizens. The MUN has always been a memorable experience for me and this year my co-chair and I intend to make this an exciting and unforgettable event for everyone else.

Greetings Delegates,
Today, more than ever, the global community fails to find common ground on social and humanitarian issues, that affect an innumerable number of people. It will be interesting to see delegates come up with innovative and effective solutions to tackle such problems. At the 5th Annual Inter House MUN at DPS Dubai, I expect constructive debate, broad consensus on effective resolutions, and most importantly, witty analogies. With that said, I wish all the delegates the best of luck and hope that delegates will research, resolve and most importantly, have fun at the GA3 at IHMUN’16.

Greetings Delegates,
Welcome to IHMUN'16, I picture model united nations as an amalgam of debate, global issues, witty analogies and a tradition, which DPS, Dubai has been adhering to since the past 4 editions. I still remember my humble beginning as a delegate finding his way through a chaotic lobbying session, and now 3 years later as I finally take on this challenge as a member of this year's secretariat I plan to use my experience, knowledge and passion to produce a memorable yet invigorating conference. IHMUN 2016 has been designed to help in the expression of ideas and opinions of delegates.It brings together intellectual and critical thinkers in a forum added with a little organisation and formal procedure to devise a truly outstanding event. I expect all the delegates to outshine themselves and make the General Assembly the best committee of the confrence.
